P. C. Cast
P.C. Cast was born in Watseka, Illinois, and grew up being
shuttled back-and-forth between Illinois and Oklahoma,
which is where she fell in love with Quarter Horses and
mythology (at about the same time). After high school she
joined the United States Air Force and began public
speaking and writing. Since her tour in the USAF, she has
been speaking and teaching professionally.
Ms. Cast is a dynamic, entertaining orator and an
extraordinary teacher. Her first novel, Goddess by
Mistake, was released Summer 2001. Currently, she lives
in Oklahoma with her daughter and her spoiled cat.
Goddess By Mistake won The Holt Medallion in the
category of best paranormal romance. The Holt is awarded
through the Virginia Chapter of the Romance Writers of
America. Castıs second accolade came in the form of The
Prism Award in the category of best fantasy romance. The
Prism is a prestigious award given through the Romance
Writers of Americaıs specialty Chapter of
Futuristic/Fantasy and Paranormal Romance. The third jewel
in the Goddess Triple Crown came from the Florida Chapter
of the Romance Writers of America when they chose Castıs
novel for the Laurel Wreath Award for Excellence in
Published Romance Fiction (paranormal category).
