Julia London

Julia London is a brownie-eating machine who spends a lot more time than she should contemplating the color of her toenail polish and the many fascinating habits of dogs…all three of them. When she is not in a stupor, Julia is writing—hopefully something more engaging than this, but hey, she takes it one day at a time. It may come as a shock to many that she is also the award winning and nationally bestselling author of six historical romance novels and is now trying her hand at comtemporary romance novels.

In fact, Julia is…ahem...hard at work writing a trilogy for the fine folks at Berkley Sensation. Material Girl (8/03) is the first book of the Lear Family Trilogy, and is about Robin, the oldest daughter of an international shipping magnate, who discovers that maybe there is more to life than a pile of things. Beauty Queen (4/04) is about Rebecca, the middle daughter, a former beauty queen who is so perfect that she drives herself nuts—and then discovers that a little imperfection can make life a lot more interesting. Finally, Daydream Believer (11/04), is about Rachel, the youngest daughter, who is a perpetual student and so out of touch with the real world that she does not see the freight train named Reality headed right for her.

Julia is also working on a brand new historical romance trilogy for Pocket Books. Highlander Unbound will be published in February, 2004. Please visit Julia's website to read excerpts, learn about her books, and to find out what else is new at www.julialondon.com.
