Julia London is a brownie-eating machine who spends a lot more time than she should contemplating the color of her toenail polish and the many fascinating habits of dogs…all three of them. When she is not in a stupor, Julia is writing—hopefully something more engaging than this, but hey, she takes it one day at a time. Beauty Queen (4/04) is about Rebecca, the middle daughter, a former beauty queen who is so perfect that she drives herself nuts—and then discovers that a little imperfection can make life a lot more interesting. Finally, Daydream Believer (11/04), is about Rachel, the youngest daughter, who is a perpetual student and so out of touch with the real world that she does not see the freight train named Reality headed right for her.
