pursuit. Born and raised in Montreal, Quebec near the
Kahnewake Mohawk Reservation, Judie's books with Native
American themes reflect her love for the heritage of her
Indian family and friends.
In January 2000 her first book for Berkley Jove, a Time
Passages entitled A LOVE BEYOND TIME, was released.
Throughout the next year A LOVE BEYOND TIME was nominated
for and won numerous awards including the HOLT Medallion

A PLACE CALLED HOME, her second release for Berkley, is the
only contemporary currently published for the Seduction

cowboy against a lady lawyer from Boston in a struggle for
love and legacy.
Judie's third book for Berkley, DISTANT ECHOES, is another
time
travel and will be released in the September 2003. With
the backdrop of an off-reservation Indian school of the
late 1800s, DISTANT ECHOES is the story of a Lakota
documentary
filmmaker who is determined to expose the horrors of the
school. It is also the story of the young woman who is the
last descendant of the school's founder and just as
determined to protect her family's reputation.
Currently living in Indianapolis, Indiana, Judie has been
an active member of Romance Writers of America since 1991.
She has served on the Board of Directors of her local
chapter and is now the president of Indiana Romance
Writers. During the day she works as a medical writer for
the research department of Indiana's largest hospital, but
in the evening she dedicates her time to her passion for
writing and her 180-pound Newfoundland, Beau.
