Susan Krinard Susan Krinard is the author of nine paranormal romance novels and three novellas for Bantam and Berkley. Her books have been on the Waldenbooks and USA Today bestseller lists, and the anthology Out of This World, containing her novella "Kinsman," was a New York Times bestseller. She has been the recipient of the Romantic Times Reviewers Choice Award for Best Contemporary Fantasy Romance, the PRISM Award presented by RWA's Fantasy, Futuristic and Paranormal chapter, Romantic Times Award for "Best Historical New Reality" for SECRET OF THE WOLF, and Affaire de Coeur's Best Up-and-Coming Author award. She is perhaps best known for her ongoing series of "werewolf" romances, including Touch of the Wolf, Once a Wolf, and Secret of the Wolf. Susan graduated with a BFA from the California College of Arts and Crafts in California, and intended to become a book cover illustrator. Fate had something else planned, however. Susan wrote her first novel, Prince of Wolves, on the advice of a friend, and sold it within a year of completion to Bantam. Her love of science fiction and fantasy makes the paranormal romance genre an ideal vehicle for her work. Susan lives in the Land of Enchantment, New Mexico, with her husband, three mixed-breed dogs, and two cats. She also bakes a mean chocolate cake. |
