Sabrina Jeffries
After years of reading and enjoying romance novels, Sabrina
Jeffries wrote her own while serving as a visiting
assistant professor of English at Tulane University. That
first novel didn't sell, but her perseverance resulted in a
string of sales to seven publishers, most recently Avon
Books. Writing under the pseudonyms of Deborah Martin,
Deborah Nicholas,
and Sabrina Jeffries, she's sold sixteen historical
romances, four
contemporary romantic suspense novels, three novellas, and
an e-story in
eleven years. Her books have won several awards, most
recently the Maggie,
the Holt Medallion, and the Booksellers' Best Award. Her
latest historical
romance, A Notorious Love, was a USA Today
bestseller and
was chosen as a
Featured Alternate for Doubleday's Rhapsody book club. She
lives in North
Carolina with her husband and son, where she writes full-
time. You can
