Christine Feehan

I've been a writer all of my life -- it is who I am. I write for myself and always have. The ability to create pictures and emotions with words is such a miracle to me. I read everything. I mean everything. All kinds of books, even encyclopedias. I am fascinated by the written word and I love storytellers. It is a great privilege to be counted one myself.

I am from a very large family, and began writing at an early age. My sisters had to read all of my stories and sometimes we would use them as scripts for plays we put on for our parents.

These days, I'm very involved in Martial Arts and hold a third degree black belt in a Korean system and other ranks in several other systems. I'm married to a wonderful man (and feel very lucky), and I have a large family of my own.
