Talia Gryphon

Talia Gryphon makes her home in the Central US with her Elven children, several rescue dogs and cats, two lizards and a hedgehog. Her interest in both the Paranormal and in Paramortals has been lifelong, stemming from her first readings of Dracula, Frankenstein, Phantom of The Opera, The Portrait of Dorian Gray, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, and Trilby beginning around age eleven and nurtured by a love for Hammer Horror Classics. A large number of her family and friends who have proudly served in the Peace Corps, Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines, have served both as inspirations, advocates and advisors for her life and her books. During a fifteen year career in the non-exact science of mental health, it occurred to her that supernatural and preternatural beings she'd read about would have problems and issues of their own to deal with, but had no one to listen or take them on as patients or clients, so she began sketching out her thoughts, speculative psychological profiles, and possible diagnoses. Thoughts became notes, notes became pages, pages became books: hence the Gillian Key, ParaDoc Series was developed. She is a member of Science Fiction Writers of America and Horror Writers of America.
