Lynn Harris

Lynn Harris is an author, essayist, commentator, and award-winning journalist.

She is also co-creator—with supergenius Chris Kalb—of the award-winning website BreakupGirl.net, online headquarters of the only superhero who rescues men and women from romantic emergencies.

A standup comic for 10 years (now retired), Lynn also co-wrote and co-starred in the Off-Off Broadway show "Lynn Harris on Ice," which sold out its run in 2002. She appears frequently at literary readings around New York City.

Lynn lives with her husband David and daughter Bess in Park Slope, Brooklyn, where everyone is a "local author." A former ice hockey player, native of Lexington, MA, and Yale grad, she now spends her free time gardening, worshipping Dolly Parton, and making legendary guacamole. She suspects that she is the only person in history who completes this trifecta: Daughter of the American Revolution, Friar, rabbi’s wife.
